The NEOC receives and neutrally investigates complaints of unlawful discrimination occurring anywhere within the state of Nebraska in the following areas: Housing, Public Accommodation and Employment. If are interested in talking to a representative please fill out the electronic form below. In most cases the statute of limitations for filing a charge of discrimination is 300 days. If you have a public accommodation issue please contact the Commission at 402-471-2024 or 800-642-6112 to discuss your situation as the Statute of Limitations for public accommodation complaints is just 10 days.

In order to begin the process of filing a discrimination charge in the State of Nebraska, please complete this electronic form. Upon receipt of this form, an Intake Investigator will contact you to schedule an interview. After the scheduled interview, the Intake Investigator will then draft a charge of discrimination, which will be mailed to you. In order to formally file the charge, it will need to be signed and dated in front of a notary and returned to the NEOC. A charge can only be investigated after the signed, notarized charge is received by the NEOC.
